Union Contract Wage Dispute

Uehlein v. Shwachman, 156 Ill. App. 3d 274, 509 N.E.2d 493 (Ill. App. Ct. 1st Dist. 1987).

Obtained dismissal of action in favor of condo association in action to recover wages by janitors pursuant to their union contract. Successfully defended dismissal on appeal. 

Mooney M20K Mishap in Rixford, Pennsylvania

Taylor v. Mooney Aircraft Corp., 464 F. Supp. 2d 439 (E.D. Pa. 2006), aff'd, 265 F. App'x 87 (3d Cir. 2008).

Obtained summary judgment in favor of component manufacturer in litigation arising from 2000 crash of Mooney M20K in Rixford, Pennsylvania. Successfully defended component part manufacturer before U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Class Action Related to Alleged Failure to Provide Adequate Legroom on Aircraft

O'Callaghan v. AMR Corp., 2005 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 12889 (N.D. Ill. June 8, 2005).

Represented airline in proposed class action arising out of alleged failure to provide passenger with sufficient legroom on aircraft.

Conveyor System Injury at O'Hare Airport Cargo FacilityObtained dismissal for owner of conveyor system arising from traumatic amputation injury to maintenance worker at O'Hare International Airport.

Insurance Coverage Action Related To Death of SkydiverObtained summary judgment on behalf of an aviation insurer in a coverage action arising out of the death of a skydiver.
