Attorney Profile

Christopher Raistrick is a partner at Adler Murphy & McQuillen LLP specializing in representing clients in a variety of general and commercial aviation products liability and tort disputes. His practice has been focused on the defense of manufacturers of aircraft, avionics, and component parts against product liability claims throughout the Country. Specifically, Christopher is often called upon to represent clients who find themselves confronted with complex disputes arising from domestic and foreign aircraft accidents-many of these involving loss of life and property. In this capacity, he has practiced in multiple state and federal courts.  He also has experience in numerous jurisdictions in matters other than aviation defense, including aviation commercial disputes, toxic torts, premises liability, medical malpractice, Free Exercise of Religion claims, zoning matters, and non-profit law.

Additionally, Christopher has extensive experience preparing insurance coverage opinions and litigating declaratory judgment actions for underlying commercial and personal injury cases, including aviation, professional liability, environmental, clergy abuse of minors and maritime cases.

Christopher maintains the same passion and dedication to his client's interest that he developed early in his career as a staff attorney for Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc.  There, he represented low-income families and individuals, as well as small businesses, in housing, family law, real estate, contract, and administrative matters.

In law school, Christopher was co-founder of the Loyola Public Interest Law Reporter and was awarded the Loyola Leadership and Service Commendation in 1996. That same year, he was honored by the Illinois State Bar Association, Young Lawyer Division, for his work in Public Service. He served as President of the Chicago Legal Clinic Advisory Board from 2004-2007.
