Recently, the Illinois Supreme Court rendered a
decision in Russell v. SNFA which may impact our clients.
In an opinion filed April 18, 2013, Illinois' high court held that
a French helicopter component manufacturer is subject to Illinois
jurisdiction even though it did not have any direct Illinois
customers for its custom-made bearings and lacked knowledge that
its parts would end up in Illinois.
